StaffPastor Curtis HouseOur pastor, Curtis House, grew up on a farm northeast of Tulia, Texas. After high school, he was a student at McMurry University and West Texas A&M University. He served in the US Army for three years and has recently finished course of study for theology at Duke University in North Carolina. His gifts are evangelism, preaching and teaching. His ministry focuses around two scriptures. The first is Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." The second is Ephesians 4:11, "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ." We cannot mention Curtis without saying something about his wife and family. Allison House grew up in Canyon, Texas and is a special education teacher. She chooses to stay at home and raise their three children, Wade (age 6), Bethani (age 3), and Emmalee (20 months). Allison is a very talented vocalist and pianist, and she has recorded a CD titled "Quiet Place". She teaches the Women's Bible study on Thursday afternoons. The House family is a blessed addition to our church family.
