• Angel Food Ministry
  •  Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the United States. Angel Food's groceries are sold in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu is different and consist of both fresh and frozen items. Generally, one unit of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. All the items are the same high quality you would purchase at the grocery store. There are also specialty boxes such as steaks, chicken and pork. Angel Food Ministries participates in the U.S. Food Stamp program. Here at WUMC, we accept the Long Star E8T card. We usually accept Lone Star cards on the Distribution Day of each month and on the last day that orders are accepted for the month. Each month when Angel Food posts the new menu, we will have paper copies placed in the information centers of WUMC. You may also print out the current month's menu and an order form by clicking on the Angel Food logo to the right. Order deadlines and distribution days are also posted in the right hand column and can be found on the order form as well.. • Soldiers Ministry
  •  As our soldiers fight for our freedom, please help us to remind them that we love and appreciate them. We will be sending something each month to the soldiers and would like to include a note or cards with each box. Also, there will be a list of items we are collecting for that month to send in the boxes, but anything you would like to bring is appreciated. There will be a box located in the foyer for you to put your items in. If you have any questions, please contact Susan McMahan at 773-5912 or the church office.

The Deadline for May orders for Angel Food is Friday, May 16th at 4pm.

Distribution Day is May 31st from 10am to 11am.

Please be prepared to show picture id!
