Adult Ministry
- Adult Sunday
School - Sundays 9:30am
- It is through Sunday school that we all gain knowledge, are fed
spiritually and have fellowship. It is vital in the renewal of the
spirit, for people of all ages to be with their peers in a
small-group learning environment.
- University/Young Adult Class meets in the Pastor's
office. This is a time for devotion and fellowship. Both single and
couples are invited to come meet with their peers to discuss
Christianity in daily life. Topics vary. Past topics include
Christian Ethics. This group is led by Kelsi and Philip Standefer.
- Challengers are a group of parents that meet together in
Room 101. Topics revolve around parenting and raising children and
teenagers in a Christian home. Studies have included Dr. Kevin
Leman's "Running the Rapids: Guiding Your Kids Through the Turbulent
Waters of Adolescence" and "Making Children Mind Without Losing
Yours". This group is led by Greg and Angela Robinson.
- Believers meet in Room 301 for a time of Bible study,
prayer, devotion, and fellowship. This class brings together a
diverse group of adults of all ages, both married and single. Topics
vary. Past topics include Rick Warren's "The Purpose Driven Life."
They also meet together for fellowship and social events outside of
Sunday school. This group is led by Dickie Vanderpool.
- Seekers meet in Room 303. This class brings together a
wonderful and friendly group of older couples and singles for a time
of warmth, fellowship, and devotion. This caring group also meets
together for fellowship and social events outside of Sunday school.
Their primary focus is on Bible study. This group is led by Wanda
DeLoach.

Bible Study - We have many Bible study groups that meet throughout the
week. Please see the church calendar for a complete list
- Sunday evening Bible Study - This Bible study is led by
Pastor Curtis House. It meet Sundays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Topics
vary. Past topics studied include: the book of Acts, Paul's letters
to the Corinthians, the book of Revelation, the book of Job, and
Christian Ethics. Everyone is invited to attend.
- Ladies Bible Study
- Mondays 6:30pm
- Thursdays 1:00pm - lead by Allison House. Topics vary but a
Beth Moore Bible Study is usually used. Currently, two Lisa
Whelchel books are being used, "Speaking Mom-ese" and "The Busy
Moms Guide to Bible Study"
- Friday 10:00am - Topics vary. Currently studying "Stepping Up" by Beth
Moore, a study of the Psalms of Ascent
- Men's Prayer Group - Meet Tuesdays at 6am at Pastor
Curtis House's barn
- Men's Ministry
- The United Methodist Men are a group of Christian men who meet
at 8:00am the first Sunday of each month for breakfast, fellowship,
and devotional study. Their primary fundraising goal is to pay half
of the church camp tuition for children of this church who desire to
attend summer camp. For more information, contact Rusty DeLoach.
- Women's Ministry
- The United Methodist Women are a group of Christian women who
meet at 6:00pm the first Sunday of each month for worship and Bible
study. They also raise money for missions projects. For more
information, contact Pat Byard, UMW President, at 698-8431.
- A Needlework Class meets on Mondays at 10:30am. Beginners to
advanced crafters are invited to attend. This is a great time for
fellowship.
